film director • media producer • creative & multi-disciplinary
I work with moving image, sound, and interface-aware dramaturgy—where editing becomes a space, and a “system” becomes a narrative condition rather than a technical backdrop. My practice moves between film language and exhibition formats: multi-screen works, montage-driven research pieces, and documentation-as-artifact approaches that treat attention, access, and visibility as design problems.
My recent focus is on how contemporary editorial ecosystems (including silent, automated decision layers) shape artistic intent, legibility, and community narratives—often through psychographic and psychoanalytic lenses of spectatorship. I’m interested in controlled emptiness, archival textures, and the ethics of implication: building tension and meaning without direct exposure.
I have worked across creative production, research, and academic environments across European cities, including a SALT Research Funds supported project (2015–2016) and university-level academic staff roles in İstanbul. My work has circulated internationally through commissioned projects and networked collaborations, and I’m currently developing screenplays and works across media, including a multi-screen installation-format proposal focusing on interface grammar, thresholds, and the politics of looking.
